Financial Information

Education at West Palm Beach Jr. Academy strives to be affordable for every family. We accept a variety of scholarships that make education affordable and pay for nearly all of the education expenses.

Accepted Scholarships: West Palm Beach Jr. Academy accepts the following scholarships: Step Up For Students, Family Tax Credit (FTC), Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options (FES-EO) and Academic Achievement Accessible Scholarship (AAA).

Application Fee: A yearly established fee is due at the time of submitting an initial application to WPBJA. Application fees are not required for returning students. Application fees pay for the QUIC (Communicative Arts and Mathematics) testing and processing of student applications by the administrative office and are non-refundable.

Registration Fee: A yearly established fee is due at the time of registration. This fee can only be paid for students who are accepted into our school. Students who re-enroll before the March 31 deadline each year will be discounted from the Registration Fee. Registration Fees are non-refundable.

Incidental Fee:  At the time of check-out to students of electronic devices, lockers, music instruments and textbooks, students must record the condition of all items in a contract at the time of receipt. Items returned damaged further than the condition received will be billed against students at replacement cost.

Tuition: This covers all other fees associated with the cost of learning, including but not limited to classroom instruction, learning resources, care and maintenance of the learning environment, and school personal.

Graduation Fees: A graduation fee is due for all students in 8th grade, Kindergarten, and Pre-Kindergarten. This fee will cover all expenses related to graduation including but not limited to a diploma, cap and gown, honor cords, parent and school graduation gifts, and graduation ceremony costs.

Aftercare is offered daily until 6pm Mon-Thur. and 5pm Friday. $5 charge for every 15mins or part thereof for being late to pick up. All students must be signed out by the adult picking up.

To support families with multiple children enrolled from the same household, we offer the following tuition discounts:

Discount Structure

  • Second Child:
    A 10% discount is applied to the parent/guardian’s tuition responsibility for the second enrolled child.
  • Each Additional Child (Third and beyond):
    A 15% discount is applied to the parent/guardian’s tuition responsibility for every additional enrolled child.

Eligibility

  • Discounts apply only to children who reside in the same family household.
  • Discounts are calculated based on the portion of tuition paid directly by the parent or guardian, after any other financial aid or subsidies.

Registration Discounts

To encourage family referrals and support school community growth, we offer the following discounts for referring a new family who remains for at least one full semester.

  1. Referral of 1–2 New Students - 50% credit off total family registration bill, credited to the student account.
  2. Referral of 3 or More New Students - 100% credit off total family registration bill, credited to the student account.

 

Credit/Debit Card Charges

If you pay with a credit card, there will be a 1.8% transaction fee.

 

Previous Balance

Any account balance for the previous school year must be settled before a student is permitted to enroll for the current school year. Any delinquent accounts remaining from a sibling who attended WPBJA must also be settled before another family member is admitted.

 

Account Status

The financial sponsor is expected to always keep the account current. The student must obtain advanced financial clearance to participate in the following:

  1. Field trips and/ or graduation activities.

Transcript or Diploma

Transcripts, cumulative records, final grade reports or diplomas cannot be issued unless the account for the student has been paid in full.
