As the senior class of WPBJA, 7th and 8th graders, look forward to Algebra, advanced Algebra, Science labs, preparation for high school, leadership training, Academy Days at Forest Lake Academy, temperance speeches shared with the community, Music Festival in Orlando, the year-end Award Ceremony, leading-out in worship and other meetings, the baccalaureate and graduation ceremonies, and all the other activities the rest of the school experiences.
Their curriculum is enriched by accredited experts in the fields of Mathematics, Science, Theology, Music, and Writing. At WPBJA the 7th and 8th graders are given ample opportunities to utilize technology, lead with guidance, enjoy Outdoor Education at Camp Kulaqua with 5th & 6th grade, and partake in an eight grade class trip. They are active band and choir members and often participate in drama and praise teams. Many of our 7th and 8th graders are involved in after school activities like Pathfinders, church leadership, sports, and private music lessons.
We are proud of our graduating 8th grade class and welcome them back yearly to complete high school community service hours in their beloved Alma mater. Most of all, our 8th graders are empowered with the love of their personal Savior, Jesus Christ as they march off to their Spirit-lead tune and follow their path to higher education and a life of service. Our love, support, encouragement and prayers go with them.
